The inspectors will finish gathering items from the Church by the end of the week. As for cause, nothing has been confirmed, and won’t be until all evidence is catalogued and inspected, this may take weeks or months. Once we get additional information we will share it.
MBA will be completing an assessment of damage on the main level due to the fire. The asbestos tile on the main floor will be removed.
We will be moving forward with the basement. We will finish the cutting and removal of concrete and then start running new sewer lines, drain tile, rough in bathrooms and kitchen. Concrete will be poured to fill in the floor.
Insurance adjusters have authorized cleanup outside the actual fire zone. Steamatic came on site Monday, January 6 and are taking pictures and inventory of all items. Items removed are being professionally cleaned and stored or disposed of. They have placed air scrubbers on both levels of the Church. Only Steamatic and MBA personnel with proper safety equipment are allowed access to the Church. NO ACCESS is allowed to any other people.
